COVID-19 Situation for Agency Ship

Agency companies will implement a new policy issued by the Ministry of Transportation, Directorate General of Marine Transportation, Harbormaster’s Office, and Port Authority concerning the Establishment of a Quarantine Area at the quay, provide guidance and application of health protocols for ships that would be berthing in the aspects of health, social, economy and countermeasures against COVID-19 transmission. Nonetheless, quarantine protocol must be followed and complied with during crew change activity either sign on or sign off. Prior to sign on, crews are required to quarantine in the designated hotel for the compulsory PCR swab test. While for sign off, the crew will also have to undergo PCR swab test onboard before being allowed to go ashore/disembark for quarantine. In addition, if any crew onboard found positive, company may take action for ship quarantine at anchorage or shipyard (minimum crew onboard).
